NHCSS Professional Development Grant

NHCSS Professional Development Grant

The New Hampshire Council for the Social Studies (NHCSS) offers funding to support K–12 classroom and preservice teachers seeking assistance with the cost of professional development opportunities that align with our mission.​


Submission Guidelines
  • Applications may be submitted at any time.
  • Applications must be received at least four weeks prior to the start of the professional development program.
  • Proposals will be considered by the Awards Committee.
​Eligibility
  • Applicants must be current K–12 classroom teachers.
  • Funding must be used exclusively for professional development costs, including registration fees, travel, lodging, and related materials.
  • The maximum grant award is $1,200.
Post-Program Requirement
  • A brief final report must be submitted within two months of completing the professional development
  • Certificate of completion and attendance.
